Adjunct Instructor, Computer Science

Position Overview:  The Computer Science Department invites applications for adjunct positions teaching both introductory and upper level courses for this coming semester and in the future. We currently have an immediate opening for the following (Spring Semester 2016):

CSC1610 – Problem Solving with Programming - An introduction to computer science techniques with an emphasis on algorithm development and structured programming. Topics include program development, modularity, streams, control structures, functions, recursion and arrays (in C++).  Tuesdays:  9:30 AM – 12:50 PM and Thursdays 9:30 – 10:50 AM.

Requirements:  An ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the college level and at least an MS in Computer Science or a related field.

To Apply:  Applicants should submit 1) an application letter, 2) curriculum vita, 3) copies of graduate transcripts, 4) either three letters of recommendation or names and contact information of references, and 5) optionally any evidence of excellence in teaching (such as past teaching evaluations).
