B.A. English/Communications, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts
Favorite place on campus:
The Blue Line Club – there are a lot of photos on the walls cataloging some historical moments in Merrimack athletic history
Fond memory or experience from your undergraduate years:
Late night barbecues with my housemates. This is definitely an option at Merrimack too! There are grills over by the Deegans for our students to use!
Tips for high school seniors:
-Know what you want from a school – location, size, major, activities – it’s all super important.
-Take a deep breath
Last great book you read:
The History of Surfing by Matt Warshaw. It is pretty amazing to read about how long people have been surfing. As an East Coast surfer the book also added a bunch of warm water spots to surf onto my bucket list.
Most played song on your ipod:
Been listening to a lot of older music lately and A Tribe Called Quest – Award Tour has been the most played in the last month.
Where would you like to travel:
Chile to enjoy some of the best surf and snow in the world!
One thing about you that may surprise your colleagues:
I officiated the wedding of two of my friends. It was a beautiful day on Martha’s Vineyard and I’m still so honored that Dave and Lauren asked me to officiate the ceremony!
One great discovery you’ve made on Merrimack’s campus:
Tables over by Mendel Pond/the bridge are the best place to have lunch!
What makes Merrimack the place to be:
University size offerings at a smaller community focused college. Merrimack allows students to choose their own path to their future!
