2014 First Lecture

Honors Program Senior Hannah Farrell will deliver this year’s First Lecture on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at 7pm in Cascia Hall.

Hannah Farrell is a senior at Merrimack College majoring in Human Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and a Religious and Theological Studies minor.  She has been a member of the Merrimack College Honors Program for four years. Around campus, she serves as a class representative for the 2014 Class Council, is a member of Theta Phi Alpha sorority, serving a year’s term as the sorority’s Co-Vice President, as well as being a part of the Order of Omega, the Greek life honor society.  In conjunction with her studies, Hannah has served as an elementary classroom assistant in surrounding communities as well as a tutor at the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence.

Growing up in Whitman, MA, Hannah is the second child, and only daughter, of Kim and Dan Farrell.  Her older brother, Ryan, is a recent graduate of Bridgewater State University.  Her younger brother, Cameron, is enjoying his freshman year at Massasoit Community College.  Her youngest brothers, Nicholas and Sean, are twins preparing to enter high school in the upcoming school year.

In the coming years, Hannah plans to attend graduate school and receive her Master’s degree as part of her path to becoming a kindergarten teacher.

The First Lecture will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in Cascia Hall.
