In addition to their games, the team engaged with the culture of both Ireland and Northern Ireland, including playing the traditional Irish sports of hurling and Gaelic football and visiting the Belfast Peace Walls and Titanic Museum. In only my second semester, I was able to start Her Campus at Merrimack, which exemplifies how welcoming this school truly is and how students can get the most out of their time here. I know that fitting in and adjusting to college life can be challenging, and I want to help other people find their own sense of belonging, so I do my part to make Her Campus a place where people feel comfortable and can be completely themselves. Merrimack is such a welcoming environment, and I could immediately feel that sense of community I was missing before.”
