Merrimack College offers its congratulations and joyful prayers to His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, the first American and Augustinian pontiff. In 2005, when he served as Prior General of the Augustinians, then Rev. Robert F. Prevost, O.S.A., visited Merrimack, where he celebrated Mass and received an honorary degree in Augustinian Education.

As a member of five student organizations – two of which he’s president of – an admissions ambassador and an employee of Merrimack’s Media Center, one could reasonably assume Andrew Daume ’26 has his plate a bit too full. But the wouldn’t have it any other way.
Andrew is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in public relations and hopes to become a news anchor, journalist or actor. During his freshman year, he knew he needed to join Merrimack College TV. Today, he’s the president of the club, passing his directing knowledge down to other club members so they can call the shots on their own shows.
