In 2005, when he served as Prior General of the Augustinians, then Rev. Robert F. Prevost, O.S.A., visited Merrimack, where he celebrated Mass and received an honorary degree in Augustinian Education.

Student involvement on and off campus continued to grow throughout this academic year. That spirit of engagement, service and Warrior pride was celebrated at the College’s annual L.E.A.D. As a member of five student organizations – two of which he’s president of – an admissions ambassador and an employee of Merrimack’s Media Center, one could reasonably assume Andrew Daume ’26 has his plate a bit too full. But the wouldn’t have it any other way.
Andrew is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in public relations and hopes to become a news anchor, journalist or actor. During his freshman year, he knew he needed to join Merrimack College TV. Today, he’s the president of the club, passing his directing knowledge down to other club members so they can call the shots on their own shows.
