Political Science

Career Paths

Political Science is not a preparatory curriculum for a specific professional career.  Our graduates enter some fields in the political arena such as electoral politics, governmental staff positions and law.  Others enter a variety of private sector positions.  Graduates have been placed in a number of positions in state and local government, especially in the field of public administration.  Some of these have graduate degrees.  The department offers strong advisement programs in pre-law, public administration and international relations.
