The Onstagers Dramatic Society presents “Tartuffe”

7:30pm EDT April 3

Rogers Center for the Arts

Written by Jean-Baptiste Poquelin Moliere
Directed by Kathleen Sills

The inveterate con artist, Tartuffe, finds his mark in Orgon, an affluent and politically connected man of unquestioned faith. With his faux piety and self-serving displays of virtuosity, Tartuffe charms his way into Orgon’s household and schemes to defraud the family of all they possess in Molière’s comedic satire on hypocrisy. Moliere’s play, banned after its first performance in 1664, has been provoking world-wide laughter ever since.
