Mission and Student Affairs

Mission

The Division of Mission and Student Affairs facilitates the growth of Merrimack students into self-aware, compassionate, responsible, ethical leaders  through co-curricular experiences that connect intellectual growth with personal, moral, and spiritual development. We do this by fostering experiences that lead each student to:

  • Confidence in giving expression to his or her unique constellation of gifts, strengths, and talents.
  • Respect for and accountability to others in community.
  • Competence and skill to navigate the complexity of a culturally diverse and interdependent world.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of others in the pursuit of the common good.

Vision

The Division of Mission and Student Affairs cultivates students’ ability to make wise and loving life choices leading to success in relationships, careers, and service contributing to a just and caring human community.
