A graduate student in Merrimack’s School of Education, Amanda-Marie will complete her M.Ed. in Higher Education in May 2013. Prior to joining the Merrimack College community, Amanda-Marie received her A.S. from Columbia-Greene Community College in 2010 and her B.A. in Psychology from Gordon College in 2012. While an undergraduate student, Amanda-Marie was active in many aspects of college life. As a student at Columbia-Greene, she was an active member of and officer for Phi Theta Kappa (The National Honor Society of the Two-Year College) and Sigma Delta Mu (The National Spanish Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges), a peer-tutor and note taker in the Academic Support Center, and a student aide in the Counseling, Career and Transfer Services Office. Upon transferring to Gordon, she was a resident advisor and a student ambassador for the Career Services Office on campus.
As a graduate fellow in Academic Affairs, some of Amanda-Marie’s responsibilities include maintaining the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs Webpage, promoting the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, and researching the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence program, among other things.
