Associate Vice President, Graduate and Professional Education, & Chief of Staff, Office of the Provost
As a member of the senior leadership of Merrimack College, Mark serves as a key member of the enrollment leadership team and provides intellectual leadership to the senior level executive team in the delivery and operational support of the graduate and professional development programs at the College. Mark also serves as Chief of Staff for the Provost. In this role as Chief of Staff, Mark provides administrative support to Provost and assists in coordinating a variety of matters within the Office of the Provost, between the Provost’s Office and other units on campus, and with the Office of the President.
Prior to joining Merrimack College, Mark was the Associate Dean of Academic and Faculty Affairs for the College of Professional Studies (CPS) at Northeastern University. In this role, Mark provided academic leadership for professional graduate and non-credit professional development programs offered by the CPS. Mark also led the development of curriculum initiatives across program areas and partnered with other deans from schools and colleges within Northeastern University to offer their programs to a national and international audience. Mark earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Maine, M.Ed. with a concentration in Human Resource Training from Boston University, M.B.A. and Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, and is an Ed.D. candidate at Northeastern University.
