The CETL will offer a variety of programs and activities in its inaugural year, including:
- Workshops covering a diversity of teaching and learning topics and needs, including assessment, technology as a teaching tool, Augustinian pedagogy, and integrating experiential learning into the curriculum
- Teaching Circles, or groups of faculty who want to explore a particular issue in teaching and learning, spending one semester developing strategies for addressing their issue, and the following semester implementing their strategic solutions
- A research and assessment conference, providing an internal venue for dialogue and professional development around the research, assessment and adoption of best practices within the Merrimack learning context
