Joanne Gurry, Ed.D.

Dr. Gurry is an assistant professor in the School of Education and the Director of the Graduate Institute for Education (GIE) at Merrimack College. Dr. Gurry has her B.A. from Boston College, her M.A. from UMASS/Amherst and her Ed.D. from Boston University.

Prior to coming to Merrimack College, she was a teacher, department chair and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the public schools. 

Dr. Gurry was an adjunct professor at UMASS/ Boston, a consultant to the Massachusetts Department of Education, EDC, Inc. in Newton, MA and chair and member of Boards and Committees of private schools in the Boston area.
