Honors Program in the News
Dr. Marcia Walsh, the 2013 Edward G. Roddy, Jr. Outstanding Teacher of the Year, will be delivering The Last Lecture on November 20, 2013 at 7:30pm in Cascia Hall.
Honors Biology major Heather Hook ’14 spent her summer as one of two interns for Pfizer Corporation; the world’s largest research based pharmaceutical company. She was given a $5,000 stipend and a project examining cell line stability.
Patrick Hovsepian ’14 is stating his first semester as a Computer Science Senior, and
all ready has a job offer for after graduation. The position is part of the
Leap Program at Fidelity Investments, where he has spent the last two summers
as an intern.

Through the stewardship of board member Jack Pasini, Merrimack has formalized a long-term partnership with Pfizer that enables Merrimack students to augment their education by working alongside world-class scientists who are developing innovative, cutting edge solutions to today’s problems.
Sabina Shakya, a senior studying Health Science and Environmental Studies and Sustainability can be seen all over Merrimack’s campus as both a Senior Resident Advisor and a peer tutor for the Writing Center. Her most recent accomplishment is being featured in Merrimack’s Student Success Story campaign.
