Peer Mentoring Program

About the Peer Mentoring Program

First-year honors students are able to select a peer mentor who is available to help ease their transition into the Honors community and Merrimack at large. Peer mentors are upperclassmen honors students who are selected by the Honors Peer Mentoring Program’s Co-Directors to be role models for new students. Peer mentors are available to help first-years…

  • Get oriented to the Merrimack campus, by showing them around  and introducing them to various services available on campus.
  • By introducing them to the Honors Program and its requirements.
  • With any social or roommates issues or questions that may come up over the course of the year.
  • Get involved with on-campus activities and become student leaders.
