Professor Sally Shockro teaches classes on ancient, medieval, and early modern European history. Her research examines the intellectual culture of the early Middle Ages, with a particular emphasis on the creation and interpretation of texts. She is currently working on a study exploring changes in the way early-medieval authors wrote about saints.
