Dr. Hayden’s interests are symbolic interactionism and criminology. Her research has appeared in Studies in Symbolic Interaction. She has presented her research at the annual meetings of the American Sociological Association, the Rural Sociological Society, and the Eastern Sociological Society.
Dr. Hayden is on a sabbatical leave during the 2012-13 academic year.
