College Transcripts
Official College Transcripts -
Official transcript requests must be requested in writing with student signature. They may be requested via mail, fax, or in person. There is no fee for Merrimack College official transcripts. In your request, please include your social security number or student ID number, approximate dates of attendance, the address where the transcript is to be sent, the reason for your transcript request (for example: graduate school application, potential transfer, etc.) and your signature. Official transcripts will not be released to students who still have financial obligations to the College. All official transcripts will contain the Merrimack College seal along with the Registrar’s stamped signature. The envelope will be sealed with the Registrar’s stamp and OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT ENCLOSED stamp.
Note: All official transcripts being issued to students directly will be stamped ISSUED TO STUDENT. If you request to pick your transcript up at the Registrar’s Office, your photo ID will be required at the time of release.
UnofficialTranscripts -
An unofficial copy of your transcript may be obtained by coming into the Registrar’s Office and providing us with a photo ID. You can also request a copy by faxing or mailing a written request. Please include your social security number or student ID number, approximate dates of attendance, the address where the transcript is to be sent, the reason for your transcript request (for example: graduate school application, potential transfer, etc.) and your signature. The Registrar’s Office fax number is 978-837-5054. Unofficial transcripts are issued to the student free of charge. They are printed on plain paper and do not have the seal of the College or the stamp of the Registrar.
Processing Time -
Once the transcript request is received, it will be mailed to the designated address within a twenty-four hour period. However, during busier parts of the academic year it may take up to four business days to be processed.
Same day, pick-up rush orders will incur a $25 processing fee payable by check or cash only.
NOTE: Fax requests will receive no priority over mailed requests. All transcript requests are processed by the order in which they are received.
Bradford College Transcripts -
Bradford College students must request both unofficial and official transcripts either by mail or in person. There is a $5 charge per transcript (checks can be made payable to Merrimack College). In your request, please include your social security number or student ID number, approximate dates of attendance, the address where the transcript is to be sent, and your signature. Please be sure to indicate that you were a Bradford College student. Transcripts will be processed within ten business days.
