How to Apply

For your convenience, you may apply online to one of our degree programs.  There is no fee to apply. Admission is on a rolling basis.

24-Month Bachelor Degree Completion

Please include the following materials as part of your application. You may mail these in to us or you may upload them to the online application. There is no application fee to apply.

Child, Family, and Community Studies

This is a 24-month cohort program that includes meals and books in tuition costs.

  • Resume
  • 2 recommendations (professional and/or academic)
  • 500-1000 word personal statement
  • Official transcripts and course descriptions from all institutions where college credit was received ( descriptions and transcripts can both be requested from the registrar)

Please note: While it is not required at the time of admittance, all CFC students who are pursuing a licensure track must ultimately meet the following requirements to graduate: at least a 3.0 gpa, passing scores on all applicable MTEL tests and successful completion of the student-teaching semester.

Professional Studies

As part of your application, if you have previously earned college credit, please mail or upload your official transcripts and corresponding course descriptions from the college or university you attended.

To obtain your official transcripts, contact the Registrar’s Office at your transferring college or university to request an official transcript and corresponding course descriptions.

  • In order for the transcript to be “official,” it must be in a sealed envelope from the transferring college or university.
  • Be sure to confirm with the institution’s Registrar’s Office whether your classes were undergraduate, graduate, or both.
