Admissions Requirements 
The Graduate Admissions Committee will review undergraduate GPA, course of study, and curriculum, in addition to relevant job or internship experience, personal or professional accomplishments or demonstrated leadership, letters of recommendation, and an applicant’s goals for the program as outlined in their personal statement.
Graduate Admissions Requirements:
Standardized test scores are not required to complete an application, though we encourage them from students who have taken standardized tests.
Merrimack College reserves the right to ask any applicant for additional supplemental requirements in consideration of their application, including but not limited to official standardized scores or an in-person interview.
MS in Engineering Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a bachelor of science in a science field or mathematics
Students with non-engineering degrees (e.g., chemistry, physics, geology, mathematics or biology) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. They may be required to take additional courses, based upon guidance from the faculty advisor, to prepare them for their advanced studies in engineering.
MS in Management Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. If your undergraduate degree is in a non-management-related field, some demonstration of math proficiency is preferred.
M.Ed. Admission Requirements
For International applicants
All graduate international applicants for whom English is not his/her native langauge and did not complete a bachelor’s degree in the US must demonstrate English proficiency by submitting scores from one of the following tests:
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is designed to measure an applicant’s ability to communicate in English in a college or university setting. Merrimack College requires a minimum score of 80 on the internet-based test (no subset below 18) for all graduate applicants.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed
to measure an applicant’s ability to communicate in English in a
college or university setting. Merrimack College requires a minimum
IELTS score of 6.5 (with no band below 5.5) for all graduate
applicants.
