Education:
B.A. Journalism with a specialization in Public Relations, Butler University, Indianapolis, IN; currently enrolled in Merrimack’s Master’s in Higher Education program

Territory:
I work with graduate students and assist with international admissions. I also cover a small group of high schools in the Boston Area and North Shore.

Hometown:
Indianapolis, IN

Favorite place on campus:
Definitely the bean bag room in McQuade library! Who wouldn’t want to read a book in a person-sized beanbag chair?

A fond memory or experience from your undergraduate years:
In my P.R. Research Methods class I had a group project where we had to conduct a focus group. We were testing microwavable macaroni & cheese and blew the power in the whole Comm building (including the TV and radio studio)…whoops!

Tips for high school seniors:
Take time to write thank-you notes to your favorite teachers & mentors before graduation.

Last great book you read:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. A great read for young adults, and bonus points for the Butler Basketball reference!

Most played song on your ipod:
According to my itunes it’s Krazy by Pitbull featuring Lil John. It’s the first song on my gym playlist.

Where would you like to travel:
Austria, Italy, Brazil, Venezuela, Turkey…there’s so many places on my list. I’d love to travel more.

One thing about you that may surprise your colleagues:
I went to the same high school as Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, and I was in show choir there. I still love to sing and have been known to do the occasional national anthem or wedding.

What makes Merrimack the place to be:
The people. The community here is amazing and the energy on campus is tangible.
