Student Involvement

It’s easy to get involved here.  Students at Merrimack enjoy the small, close-knit community of people who enjoy being active and engaged.

Students here are serious about their studies and their activities, whether it’s planning the Asian, Latino, African, Native American (A.L.A.N.A.) Culture Show, working on a case study project with the American Marketing Association chapter, selling tickets with the Merrimack Program Board (MPB) for the spring concert, or preparing for an Alternative Spring Break trip to help rebuild houses in New Orleans.

You can definitely find everything you need to make the most of your Merrimack experience.  Students participate in student organizations on campus ranging from writing for the student newspaper, The Beacon, to designing the set or auditioning for the OnStagers dramatic productions to Zeta Tau Alpha to building a concrete canoe with the  American Society of Civil Engineers. In addition, you can play an intramural sports ranging from flag football to ice hockey to dodgeball!  You can join a club  sport, the Student Government Association, take time to do service, study abroad, or work a campus job.

Whether taking advantage of the opportunities to work out in the Fitness Center, playing in the Pep Band or simply attending one of MPB’s many events, you’ll find a great deal of support to help make it the best experience possible and to truly Make It Your Merrimack.
