John Huston has brought Herman Melville’s classic American novel to the screen as an adventure tale laden with action and horror. Gregory Peck, in one of his finest roles, portrays Captain Ahab, the tyrannical, obsessed leader who lusts for revenge against the mysterious white whale. Huston considers Moby Dick his most prized achievement.
