Rogers Center for the Arts
The Department of Visual and Performing Arts presents an American comic masterpiece by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright and actor Sam Shepard.

Successful screenwriter Austin and petty thief Lee are estranged brothers from different worlds. When they reunite in their Mom’s California kitchen, where Austin is working out a screenplay deal, Lee come up with his own idea and steals much more than just the neighobors’ TV.  This dynamic, darkly funny play by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Sam Shepard is a tale of sibling rivalry, the American Dream, and stolen toasters!

Directed by Kathleen Sills

Starring Merrimack College Students Matthew McCormick, Nathaniel Vilandre, Josh Canner, and Kali Tudisco

“Surely Shepard’s masterwork … it tells us a truth, as glimpsed by a 37-year old genius.”  - The New York Post
