Dr. Ward Serves as Program Chair

Elaine Ward, Ed.D, serves as the program chair for the 2013 Annual Lynton Colloquium on the Scholarship of Engagement: The Engaged Scholar and the Engaged Campus.
Dr. Ward’s theory of Community Engaged Scholarly Identity (CESI) provides the theoretical framework for the panel presentations and her new research with colleagues on public narratives and the voices of the next generation of engagement frames the dialogue with graduate students attending the Colloquium.  
Fourteen Merrimack Higher Ed and Community Engagement Fellows will attend the event thanks to sponsorship from the Center for Engaged Democracy and the Higher Education Program at Merrimack College. Click here for more information.
The event is Monday September 30th and sponsored by the University of Massachusetts Boston and the New England Resource Center for Higher Education.
