Kelli Readey, sophomore and digital design major, stands with a piece she created last year for a two-dimensional design class with Professor Lovely. Kathleen Tiemann, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, saw the painting in a classroom and immediately asked if she could frame it to hang in her office. Readey of course agreed, saying, “It’s an honor to have someone who loves my piece as much as I do to hang in her office.”
Readey is interested in starting her own business after graduating from Merrimack. She is also using her talents to help different clubs on campus, recently becoming the chair of marketing for the Merrimack Programming Board, where she designs posters for their events.
