21 Students Inducted into AKD

The Department inducted 21 students into Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD), the International Sociology Honor Society, this year.

The Department inducted 21 students into AKD, the International Sociology Honor Society, this year. About 60 guests attended the Department of Sociology and Criminology’s seventh annual Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) induction ceremony and reception on Friday, April 13. Dr. Michael DeCesare, Chair of the Department, offered the evening’s welcoming comments, and Dr. Josephine Modica-Napolitano, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, followed with some remarks. The inductees included: Anne Boyd, Adriana Estevez, Joshua Heil, Kyle Higgins, Lindsey Kelley, Amanda Kozik, Alexandra Meier, Michelle Miles, Clara Miller, Harry Mullin, Mark O’Flynn, Mary Paris, Ryan Parker, Samantha Ricker, Kevin Sa, Dominic Tuccolo, Ariel Valdes, Marianna Wells, Kaila Whooley, James Wildason, and Andrea Yavarow. Congratulations to this year’s inductees!
