Recent publications from the philosophy department:

Professor William Wians’ volume Proceedings of the Boston Area Colloquium in Ancient Philosophy, vol. 26, co-edited with Gary Gutler, S.J., Boston College. Brill: forthcoming July 2011. 

In addition,  SUNY Press has agreed to publish Logoi and Muthoi: Further Studies in Greek Philosophy and Literature, edited by William Wians.  SUNY published the first volume, Logos and Muthos: Studies in Greek Philosophy and Literature (also edited by Prof. Wians), in October 2011.

Professor George Heffernan will publish the following papers:
“‘Erit ergo spiritui subdita caro spiritalis’ (‘The spiritual flesh will therefore be subject to the spirit’):  The Heavenly Pleasures of the Disembodied and Reembodied—An Essay on Augustine and the Problem of Embodiment”, forthcoming in Analecta Husserliana, 2012.
