Two exciting programs are available to students and recent graduates interested in working for the federal government in one of its 367 agencies: Pathways Program and the Partnership for Public Service.
Federal Government Pathways Program
Some of the benefits of Federal Employment include: making a difference, getting help with student loan payoff, and in some cases traveling the world. Also available through this partnership is government internships; there are thousands of internships around the country available to current college students. The Pathways Program offer clear paths to federal internships and full time career opportunities for recent graduates, both provide meaningful training and career development opportunities. Partnership for Public Service
Merrimack College and the Partnership for Public Services have joined forces to become a Call to Serve Campus. The Call to Serve program and resources, developed in conjunction with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), are designed to tackle this pressing issue with a multi-faceted approach. The Call to Serve initiative has two primary objectives:
- Inspire and educate a new generation about federal service.
- Improve agencies’ ability to recruit and hire the talent government needs.
