Exercise Science & Psychology Background Help Senior Soar
Lydia is a current junior at Merrimack College looking to pursue a career in rehabilitation therapy. Lydia felt confident that Merrimack would give her the skills she needed to excel in her future career path. “Looking at the curriculum, I noticed the health sciences program provided many in depth courses as well as state of the art technology to advance my learning. This set Merrimack apart from other schools I was considering.”
“I chose to attend Merrimack because of the ability to get to know your professors and peers in such a personalized atmosphere.”
Merrimack offers resources for every student to excel, which Lydia has found to be an asset during her undergraduate academic career. “Merrimack provides many different supportive groups around campus. Personally, I have found benefits in the tutoring and math center, professor & teacher’s assistant’s office hours, and the writing center – all of which ensure student success.”
Lydia is a member of the Merrimack Women’s Swim Team. She is also working on research with Professor Andrew Cannon and graduate student Madison Fornwalt, as well as with her peers Marissa Duffy and Erin Knight with measuring hip internal rotation in weight-bearing versus nonweight-bearing positions.
