Students and Parents - What to Expect During the myMack Upgrade

Merrimack’s transformation into a leading Catholic research institution requires investment in every aspect of our operations; not just academic programs, groundbreaking research and new campus facilities, but also the systems that support our daily functions.

About the Transition

Earlier this year, we introduced several new enhancements to improve the student experience, including the convenience of mobile credentialing and an upgraded wireless network. As we continue to prioritize technology across campus, we are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of an enhanced version of myMack that will feature:

  • More intuitive navigation
  • Advanced course planning tools for easier class registration
  • A simplified way to track progress toward degree completion

The myMack upgrade will begin on Wednesday, October 30, at noon and will be completed by 8 a.m. on Monday, November 25. During this time, myMack will be available as read-only and some myMack functions will be impacted.

As we get ready to launch the upgraded platform, please take a moment to review the information below about some features that will be affected. The impact to students during this time should be minimal, but the College has put in place plans to ensure that students can access the resources they need.

Before Wednesday, October 30, 2024

Here are the top 5 things to do before October 30

  2. Register for Classes
  3. Order a transcript
    • Order before Wednesday, October 30 if you need an official transcript before December
    • Transcripts must be  ordered before the system goes offline. Click here to order a transcript. Visit the myMack Student Info tab for more information.
  4. Pay any outstanding bills – remove holds
  5. Request refunds
    • Refunds should be requested by Monday, October 28 for speedy processing.

Thursday, October 31 - November 25

The College has put in place plans to help students during this transition should you have questions. The table below will help guide you during the period that myMack is read only. Some forms that exist on myMack have also been made available here, to assist in the transition process.

Registration:

Register for ClassesStudents who need to register for classes should work with their advisor for any registration and course changes after Thursday, October 31. Advising centers within each school will register students for classes during this timeframe.
Order a TranscriptOfficial transcripts will be unavailable until Monday, November 25. Prepare ahead and order official transcripts before Wednesday, October 30. Unofficial transcripts will be available through myMack. Contact the Warrior One Stop for any concerns about transcripts during the transition period.

 Billing:

Note: You will be able to pay your bill, but your statement may not reflect an accurate balance until Monday, November 25. If you have questions about your statement you can send an email to [email protected]
Request a RefundContact the Warrior One Stop at [email protected] for questions about refunds.
Clear a HoldCashnet will be available for payments. The Warrior One Stop will be ensuring that students who pay any outstanding bills during the transition period will be cleared to register for classes. Contact the Warrior One Stop at [email protected] for questions or concerns about this process.

Financial Aid:

Disbursement of AidFinancial Aid disbursements will not occur from October 30-November 25. Disbursements will resume shortly thereafter.
Refund due to AidRefunds will not be processed from October 30- November 25. Refund processing will resume shortly thereafter. Please contact the Warrior One Stop at [email protected] for any questions or concerns about refunds due to aid during this period.
Missing DocumentsDocuments completed from October 30-November 25 will not reflect as Received in myMack. Email, call or visit the Warrior One Stop for a status update.

Parking:

Register for Spring ParkingRegistration for spring parking will be unavailable from October 30-November 25. If you have concerns about parking during this time you can send an email to [email protected]

After Monday, November 25

Beginning Monday, November 25, the enhanced version of myMack will launch and all regular functions within myMack will resume – along with the new features. We will continue to reach out with updates along the way.

Please be patient, as everyone gets comfortable with the new system, services may take a little longer in the first few weeks of going live.
