Merrimack has selected Jenzabar One as our new student and finance system. The implementation of J1 will modernize core campus functions, create better efficiencies and streamline key processes for the entire campus community.
Merrimack College is in the process of implementing a new cloud-based platform, Jenzabar One (J1), which will modernize core campus technologies, create efficiencies and streamline key processes for students and employees.
Specifically, J1 is the new student information system and financial information system for the institution. Across a number of areas, from course registration to financial systems used by employees, J1 will provide better user experiences for many operations across campus, allowing for greater focus on the student experience and other aspects of the College’s business processes. J1 will replace the current CX system, and is scheduled to go live in November 2024.
With the implementation of Jenzabar One, Merrimack College’s new cloud-based platform, students will see more streamlined processes and have quicker access to important information.

Our administrative departments have spent countless hours over the past 24 months learning how J1 functions and mapping our current data into the new J1 system. In the next few weeks, we are excited to share more as we learn how the system will look and feel for students and employees. If you see any of our module managers, please thank them for their continued hard work.
Work on J1 began in September of 2022, with Go Live currently scheduled for November of 2024.
The system upgrade and migration begins on Wednesday, October 30, at noon, and is scheduled to be completed on Monday, November 25 at 8 a.m. During this time, myMack and CX will be available as read-only, and some purchasing and financial processing services may take longer due to manual processing during the migration.
While the team works to bring J1 online, our current system CX and our portal, myMack, will be in “read only” mode. Students, staff and faculty will be able to view pages and find information in both systems. Click the buttons on the right of this page for more information for faculty, staff and students.
Please come and join us for a wonderful night of music, free admission!
