Law, Ethics and Society Minor

The law, ethics and society minor at Merrimack College is a multidisciplinary liberal arts minor that emphasizes the relationship among legal, social and ethical issues.

You will examine the role of the legal system and specific legal issues from the perspective of the humanities and the social sciences.   

This minor is intended for students who plan on attending law school, are interested in pursuing other law-related careers or are simply interested in learning more about the role of law in our society. The program was developed in accordance with the American Bar Association’s Statement on Pre-Law Preparation.

You need to complete a minimum of 18 credits, with a minimum of five courses. No more than two elective courses can be taken from the same department. No more than two courses can be double-counted between this minor and another major or minor.
