Resources for Your New Major

Dedicated Advising

You can expect to work with a dedicated advisor for both your academic and career needs throughout your college experience at Merrimack. Our advisors are here to help you from your first week of freshman year to senior year’s last final exam.

Combined Skills

A combined major at Merrimack opens you to more opportunities by helping you gain more skills during your time here. You’ll be prepared to work in multiple different avenues with the combination of skills you acquire. 

Affinity Group Status

Meet like-minded students with similar career goals to you. Pursuing a combined major provides you with affinity group status – this means getting access to specific on-campus resources, support and more. 

Guaranteed Internship

The O’Brien Center for Career Development and your career advisor will work to place you in a guaranteed internship, typically during your junior year. Services through the O’Brien Center are available year round.
