Director & Chief Commercial Officer, Oligomerix, Inc.

Jack Pasini is Director and Chief Commercial Officer at Oligomerix, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on development of disease-modifying therapeutics for the treatment of various dementias including PSP, FTD and Alzheimer’s diseases.

Its platform targets the clustering of tau protein which in diseased patients, accumulates and forms the triangles which are a hallmark of Alzheimer’s. Oligomerix is poised to transition into Ph 1 human clinical testing in early 2022 with its lead compound.

Jack was elected to the Board of Directors in 2010 and appointed Chief Commercial Officer; in this role he is responsible for the development of the company’s key strategic partnerships. From 2008 to 2010 Pasini ran his own consulting business out of his Fort Lauderdale home, JDKD Pharmaceutical Consulting.

Prior to joining Oligomerix, Pasini spent 30 years at Pfizer, Inc. where he held multiple senior level positions and was responsible for some of the company’s most successful brands including Spiriva, Zithromax, Diflucan, and Zyvox. Among his career highlights, he served as Vice President of Pfizer’s Infectious Diseases and Allergy & Respiratory Therapeutic Groups, where he led commercial decision-making involving two key therapeutic areas, generating annual revenue in excess of $5 billion. Core to the division’s success, Pasini directed Pfizer’s global Spiriva alliance with Boehringer-Ingelheim, driving annual revenue of more than $2.6
billion in 2007.

As Vice President of Product Development for Pfizer’s International Pharmaceuticals Group, Pasini led a team of 40 marketing leaders and managers in the development of strategic operating plans for multiple products, including Lipitor, Norvasc, Zithromax, Diflucan, Zoloft, Cardura and Aricept. Pasini also served as Area President for Pfizer’s Africa-Middle East Region, Vice President of Business Intelligence and Planning, and Director of Commercial Development.

Jack received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College in 1973 and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1977. He resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Pasini.
