History is being made for @merrimack_fb! 🏈 Wide receiver and kick return specialist Donovan Wadley ’26 is the first player to be named to the preseason watch list for the 2024 Walter Payton Award, which is presented annually to the national offensive player of the year in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision.
 
Wadley and the team head to Colorado and kick off their season against @af_academy in the biggest game in Merrimack history! Tune into CBS Sports Network tomorrow, Aug. 31, at 3:30 p.m. to cheer on the Warriors!

Merrimack’s Student Government Association president Mariia Diahilieva ’26 hopes to use her leadership position to give back to the community that gave her so much during a trying time in her life. She found a home at MC thanks to a scholarship created by Vin Foley ’68 for undergraduate students with refugee status in the U.S. on asylum or who are seeking asylum. Today, she’s pursuing a double major in chemistry and data science as a member of the Honors Program.
