Thank you for your interest in joining the fully online, self-paced series: “Supporting Multilingualism in K-12 Schools”, facilitated by Dana Gastich French from UpRiver Education. There will be 8 modules in total. Modules will be released on the 15th of each month (October 2024 – May 2025). Once you register, you are in the system for all modules.
Invitations to join the UpRiver Education platform will be sent out every Friday (the invitation will come from Dana Gastich French.)
Professional Development Certificates of Completion will be issued after the series in early June 2025. The certificates will reflect the number of module hours you completed.

Facilitator Biography: Dana Gastich French is the founder and lead consultant for UpRiver Education, an education consulting firm committed to maximizing outcomes for multilingual learners. Through engaging professional development, tailored coaching, and comprehensive program support, she aims to empower educators and schools to embrace asset-based approaches that celebrate diversity and elevate the strengths of every learner. Dana brings over twenty years in public education to her work; she has served as ESL teacher, bilingual teacher, instructional coach, district-level EL administrator and advocate. She co-authored the text Teaching English Language Learners: Content and Language in Secondary Classrooms which has served as a staple for Master’s-level educator preparation programs. Dana enjoys living on the NH seacoast with her husband and 3 children.
