About Merrimack's Day of Giving

For over 75 years, our mission at Merrimack College has been enlightening minds, engaging hearts, and empowering lives. With that mission in mind, we launched Merrimack’s First Annual Day of Giving on April 3. Our Warrior community came together to invest in Merrimack’s ongoing academic excellence, vibrant campus life, scholarship opportunities and more.

When is Giving Day?

Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Will gifts made before April 3 Count for the Day of Giving?

Yes! Starting March 7, we will count as participating in the Day of Giving.

Is there a minimum gift amount?

No, all gifts of any amount are included in our goal.

What is the Day of Giving?

Merrimack College’s Day of Giving is a one-day fundraising initiative where the College community—alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, fans and friends—unites to support the institution through charitable contributions. On this day, we come together to celebrate the collective power of philanthropy.

Can anyone participate in the Day of Giving?

Absolutely! Alumni, parents, family, friends, fans, students, staff and faculty can all show their support for Merrimack!

Can I make a gift of any amount? I feel like my small gift won’t make a difference.

Yes, ALL gifts of ANY size make a significant impact on our community. Your donation, no matter the size, helps us INNOVATE, GROW, SERVE and WIN and plays a vital role in creating a lasting impact. We invite you to join fellow donors in this collective effort to strengthen our community and rise together.

Will my gift be tax-deductible?

Yes. A tax receipt will be emailed to you after your gift transaction is complete.

Can Merrimack College faculty and staff make payroll deduction gifts?

Absolutely. All current faculty and staff can set up a payroll deduction by filling out the form. If you’re establishing a new deduction, your first payment will count toward Giving Day totals. For those with an existing deduction, your April payment(s) will be counted.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All donations are processed through a secure online giving form. The information collected during Giving Day will be used exclusively by Merrimack College.

Does my employer offer matching gifts?

Many employers have matching gift programs that can potentially double the impact of your donation. Check with your HR department or visit our Matching Gifts page for more information.
