Meet Bridget Slocum ‘24, who recently received a bachelor's degree in STEM education and elementary education! As an Austin Scholar, she also spent time as a resident assistant and peer tutor, and is thrilled to be returning to Merrimack. Bridget will be spending another year in the MC community as a graduate resident director while she pursues a master's in education. Congratulations!

Breaking’s Olympic debut is today and the world’s best B-boys and B-girls will showcase their dancing skills to a global audience! Merrimack College Assistant Professor Christian Kronsted is a breaking veteran and multi-time competition winner. While he may not be competing in Paris, he shared the significance of breaking’s inclusion in the Olympics and showed off some of the moves viewers can expect to see.

As a member of @mchonors, Owen Enestvedt ‘24 enjoyed being part of a welcoming and supportive community as he started his college journey. As his time at Merrimack continued, he was encouraged by the staff in the @obriencenter as well as his professors and gained opportunities to work on campus, present at conferences and compete in programming competitions.

Now, he's moving on to the next step and beginning his career as a software engineer at @dell. He will spend three years in a rotational program, where he will work alongside a different team each year, gaining exposure to a variety of topics and skills. Congratulations, Owen!
