Welcome, Parents and Families!
At Merrimack College, students are encouraged to explore new opportunities that enhance their educational experience and develop their skills so they are successful when entering the workforce. Throughout this journey, they will be supported by our welcoming community of faculty, staff, students and families.
Parents of Merrimack College’s students play an important role as people who guide students to be successful in school and life. We welcome your interest, support and involvement during this critical phase of your student’s life. You are always encouraged to join us on campus for events such as performances, speakers, sporting events and more throughout the year.
Merrimack welcomes parents willing to volunteer in many different venues:
- Represent the college during open houses, at summer welcome events, recruiting fairs and through the Office of Admission.
- Connect with the O’Brien Center for Career Development. Parents greatly enhance our student and alumni experiences by teaming with us to provide professional development, offering internships and securing employment for our graduates.
- Join the Parents Leadership Council and bring forward issues of interest regarding the educational experience at Merrimack College.
As a Merrimack College parent, you play an integral role in the success of the College and the future of our students. We hope you’ll consider the many ways that you can become an active member of our team.
