My program of research focuses on the psychobiology and psychopharmacologic treatment of those with psychiatric disorders, with an emphasis on major mood disorders. I have more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in journals that focus on circadian rhythms, seasonal affective disorder in both children and adults, and clinical trials of psychiatric medications and light therapy. I served as Merrimack College’s ninth provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, from 2014-16.
